This notice explains how that information is handled. It does not cover advertising partnerships, because we do not have any.

When you opt in to our text messaging service, we collect:

- Your mobile phone number
- Your explicit written consent to receive text messages, including the date and time of opt-in
This information is collected through the opt-in form on our website and is used solely to facilitate SMS communication between you and Sprout Vet Clinic.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your phone number and consent record to:

- Share clinic updates and pet wellness tips
- Respond to text messages you send us
We do not use your information for advertising, third-party marketing campaigns, or any purpose unrelated to your care at Sprout Vet Clinic.

Our text messaging service is operated through DaySmart, a third-party SMS platform. Your phone number and message content are transmitted through DaySmart in order to deliver and receive text messages. DaySmart is contractually obligated to:
- Handle your information securely
- Use your data only as directed by us
- Not sell or share your information with other parties for their own use

5. Message Frequency & Costs
Message frequency will vary based on your appointments and clinic activity. Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Sprout Vet Clinic does not charge a fee for this service.
6. How to Opt Out
You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further texts will be sent.
To re-enroll, you may opt in again through the form on our website or by contacting us directly.

7. Data Retention
We retain your opt-in record and associated consent information for as long as you are an active text messaging subscriber, and for a reasonable period thereafter as required for compliance and record-keeping purposes. When you opt out, your number is flagged as unsubscribed and will not receive further messages.
8. Security
We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. Our third-party SMS provider is required to maintain appropriate security standards. However, no electronic transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
Our SMS messaging service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted their information through our opt-in form, please contact us at [email protected] and we will promptly remove it.
